About the Origin About the Cultivar

Sourced from tea gardens in Xishuangbanna, an autonomous region in southern Yunnan near the borders of Myanmar and Laos, the Winter ’25 Pu’er collection reflects the long-standing tea traditions of the region. Grown in a subtropical landscape shaped by forested hills and river valleys, the leaves are carefully harvested, sun-dried, and traditionally processed before being pressed into their final form.
Pu’er is a style of tea from Yunnan, traditionally valued for its depth, transformation, and relationship with time. Made from large leaf tea trees, pu’er can be enjoyed in its raw form, which ages naturally and evolves over time, or as ripe pu’er, which is carefully fermented to create a smooth, mellow character from the outset. Often brewed over many infusions, pu’er slowly unfolds over repeated infusions.
